With a maximum rotation speed of 2,900 rpm, the DTD152 handles fixing capacities from M5 to M16 bolts and can drive large screws into hardwood without pilot holes. Its well-balanced, lightweight design features a rubberised grip for superior control, and a ¼” single-sleeve chuck allows for fast bit changes.
The forward/reverse lever is conveniently positioned for thumb-and-forefinger operation, while the variable speed trigger ensures precise control. An electronic brake stops rotation immediately when the trigger is released for safety and accuracy.
As part of Makita’s 18V Lithium-Ion family, the DTD152 accepts all Li-Ion batteries from 1.5Ah to 5Ah and includes a built-in battery protection circuit to guard against overload and overheating. Additional features include twin LED job lights, mechanical 2-speed control, all-metal gears, and a compact 137 mm overall length for improved access in tight spaces.
