This 1800 x 125 x 75mm fence post is commonly used for setting up a post and rail fence, paired with 88 x 38mm rails. This Fence post have pointed ends that allow them to be driven into the ground rather than digging and concreting them in.
Please be aware, however, that only powerful equipment, such a tractor mounted post rammer, can be used to do this. If you don't have access to such equipment, you should use 5 x 3 posts with black ends and post mix to secure them into pre-dug holes.

When fitting your post, we recommend that you allow a minimum of 600mm to go into the ground.
Don’t forget to top your post with a cap, offering an attractive finish; our caps are bevelled to prevent water from sitting on the top of the posts!
